I wanted to inform you about changes with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park car parking policy with regards to the use of trailers. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has informed me that due to the review and update to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authorities(PCNPA) car parking sites policy that was agreed in November 2016 trailers are not allowed to be parked in the PCNPA car parks which include. (Failure to comply would result in the parking enforcement officers issuing a fixed penalty notice.)

Since being informed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park(PCNPA) I have been working with Gary Meopham the estates manager for the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter Steering Group to find an interim solution for 2017, and allow for further engagement between the PCNPA and the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter Group(POCG) when appropriate to find a long-term solution.(Likely autumn 2017).
This interim solution to allow for the continued use of PCNPA car parks has been agreed in the forms of a trailer parking permit for POCG members who agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the attached document “POCG Application form for trailers within PCNPA car parks Summer Season 2017”. These trailer parking permits will be available starting Monday the 22nd of May, cost £70.00, and allow for use of a trailer in 7 PCNPA car parks.
These permits will only be available for Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter Group members, and available directly from the PCNPA. I want to make you aware so that your members who operate in Pembrokeshire can avoid a fine by either obtaining a permit which I can assist any business interested in obtaining or by avoiding the use of trailers at the car parks listed above.
